Fairoz Bin Samil

Started playing at the age of 6 and started studying drums/music at the age of 13. Opened for and jammed with Dom Famularo at the age of 17. Started performing regularly at the age of 21 and has since played at various clubs/pubs/lounges and did well-publicized recordings and workshops plus several major concerts around S’pore, Malaysia & Indonesia. He jammed with Sheila E during her workshop/concert in S’pore in 2005. He also represented Singapore on Singapore Drumfest 2007 (alongside Steve Thornton, Mohd Noor & Jimmy Lee). Currently playing with Jive Talkin’, one of the most distinguished bands in Singapore, for the past 7 years.
