Walfredo Reyes, Jr. is one of the most versatile, all around working drummers in the world today. Whether in the studio recording, touring, or teaching educational clinics on percussion, drum set, or a mix of both, he is an artist that passionately gives all of his heart and soul to each musical situation he is involved.

In his proffessional career he has consistently been hired by world renown artists such as Carlos Santana, Steve Winwood, Robbie Robertson, Jackson Browne, Ricky Lee Jones, Boz Scags ... Jazz artists Joe Sample, Larry Carlton, Tania Maria, Don & Dave Grusin, Frank Gambale ... Latino and Pop artists Ricky Martin, Christina Aguilera, Gloria Estefan, Celia Cruz and International artists like Khaled (Algeria), Sergio Mendes (Brasil), Jimmy Barnes (Australia), Johnny Hallyday (France). He has also played on countless movie and television soundtracks.

Wally's driving passion is to learn,play and teach the music of the world and its rich history. With this in mind, he has put together an instructional DVD "Global Beats" by Hal Leonard (available on his website -www.WalfredoReyesJr.com)

He is currently touring and working on the latest studio CD for world renown guitarist/singer Lindsey Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac, and on his own CD "Welcome to Wallyworld" - to be released in 2008.
