Curriculum Andy C

Andy C. started studying music at the classical conservatorium “Rodolfo Halfter” (Madrid) when he was 9 years old,
He achieved the medium grade on Piano and Percussion.
His career go on at the Drummers school “Total Percussion” (Madrid), where he had lessons with the famous drummers Pepe Sanchez and Manuel Sanchez. In that time he went also to study Jazz in the school “Nuevas Musicas” (Madrid), where he studied with the jazz-flamenco piano player Pedro Ojesto, and Fusion-Music with Adalberto cevasco (bass player on Piazzola, Frank Sinatra…)

In 2006/07, he went to the conservatorium “Codarts High Vool School” in Holland, Rotterdam. There, he specialized in Music Production and new technologies for a year, also he studied music, piano, drums and musical theory…
When he was 15 years old he started playing on his first bands and begun to produce his own first recordings in an old studio he built up in old family store. Wormed, Dark Moor, Naturezza has been some of his bands, playing drums or keyboards, playing such different styles like funky, Latin-jazz, death metal…

In 2000 he played on his first international tour, “American tour 2000”. From then on, he has been playing frequently on international events and tours (Japan, Latino America, Europe…), playing with his own bands or with other artists.

In 2005 Andy becomes the new drummer of the band Saratoga. After a year playing with them, on September 2007 they release a new CD called “VII-Seven” and they start a new successful age.

Nowadays, Andy C. is a Mapex, Meinl & Remo endorsement, and he has his own recording and mixing studio.
