From the psychedelic influences of Japanese super group 'Magical Orange', the stark urban Hip Hop beats of the 'Groove Criminals' & 'Hoodie'and the powerful, poetic melodies of 'Eckie' to the power pop energy of 'Jence', Doc has recently started collaborating with alternative U.S. proto-rock band 'Blok', U2 tribute act 'fu2k' and Rock outfit 'Loaded', Doctorspoons also provides 'Drum Remedies' on a monthly basis for the U.K.'s newest and loudest magazine Drummer. The doc, born in Bedfordshire a little while ago (O.K. 1973), he started playing at the relatively late age of 14 and progressed from performing with local bands, to carving himself a successful freelance career in the music industry. Predominantly self taught doc sought some lessons from Martin Hearne which added direction and technique to his natural performance and flair as a player. Numerous commercial releases, a host of sessions for terrestrial & cable television & radio and the ability to bring his unique voice to a wide variety of musical situations have enabled the doc to build up a solid reputation with the musicians, organisations and companies that have called upon his services time & again.
