MAPEX ADDS NEW CONFIGURATION AND SPECIAL EXOTIC ZEBRAWOOD VENEER FINSHES TO PRO M SERIES

Mapex is introducing a new six-piece configuration and special Exotic Zebrawood Veneer with Transparent Amber Fade finish to its popular Pro M Drum Series. The new Studioease configuration (PM6285U) includes a 22x18 bass drum, 10x8 and 12x9 tom toms, 14x14 and 16x16 floor toms and a 14x5.5 snare drum. The set includes a full complement of hardware including a P750A bass drum pedal, a H750A hi-hat stand, S550A snare, C550A cymbal stand and B550A boom stand.

The introduction of the Studioease configuration is a natural response to the growing demand for configurations with floor toms,said Joe Vasko, Mapex USA Vice President and General Manager. We expect this configuration to be very well received.

Mapex is introducing the special edition, Exotic Zebrawood Veneer in Transparent Amber Fade finish to the Pro M Series. It just looks outstanding with the beautiful, exotic outer veneer plus the Transparent Amber Fade finish. Like all Mapex lacquer finishes these new colors are hand applied and hand buffed to a deep, high-gloss shine.

The Pro M Series features all-maple shells and the Mapex Isolated Tom Mount System that ensures maximum shell resonance.
