Lamb of God - Chris Adler and Willie Adler Rock Show in Germany
Most drummers and heavy metal enthusiasts vividly remember the Alder brothers’ impressive performance at the 2006 Modern Drummer Festival. After a year and a half, Chris has agreed to perform again without the full Lamb of God band. So right after the Musikmesse convention, MAPEX, together with their distributor M & T and ESP guitar, sponsored the Chris Alder and Willie Adler Rock Show trip to 3 different German cities.
If you know the story of Lamb of God, you know how they formed the band and how Chris Adler switched from a bass player to a legendary heavy metal drummer. His talent has been recognized in numerous magazines, including Modern Drummer Magazine, one of the premier drum magazines in the U.S.
Chris and Willie spent a lot of time preparing to make it the best possible show for their audience. During the show they played some Lamb of God tunes and explained how they compose the songs and where their inspiration comes from. Chris chose a few tunes that are fun to play from a drummer’s point of view and Willie also chose a few songs. They talked about each song that they played and the meaning behind each one.
