N.E.R.D. features MAPEX artists Darrell Robinson and Eric Greene at Project Revolution

MAPEX artists Darrell Robinson and Eric Greene, drummers of N.E.R.D. are now touring with Linkin Park, Jay - Z for Project Revolution. The June 29th gig at MAPEX UK’s hometown Milton Keynes National Bowl was a huge success. More than 45,000 people experienced the immense energy created by N.E.R.D. cannon launchers Darrell Robinson and Eric Greene.

To help consumers assemble the kit, QR Series also comes with a newly released DVD featuring Mapex artist, clinician and educational director, Dom Famularo. The DVD is a step-by-step assembly guide of the drum set and also includes tuning instructions and a few basic lessons hosted by Famularo.

After the show, Ade from Mikedolbear.com interviewed both artists and also N.E.R.D. frontman Horace Ward. Horace also shared his experiences with us about MAPEX drums and why his favorite kit to work with is MAPEX. Darrell is very happy with both the sound of MAPEX and the finish of his drum set. He praised Eric's drumming and shared how he loves to have two drummers performing together. MAPEX provided both Darrell and Eric with brand new drum sets for the show at Milton Keynes National Bowl. Both drummers played Saturn kits which are well known for deep and rich tone and have a 6-ply shell configuration with 4 exterior maple plys and 2 interior walnut plys. Darrell’s Saturn kit had an Electric Berry Burst finish and Eric’s had a Crystal Krush finish, both best selling colors in the Saturn series.
