"MAPEX artist Aquiles Priester at Wacken Open Air WOA’08"

Aquiles Priester, ou brazilian Drum-Octopus (ANGRA/HANGAR/FREAKEYS) hold two clinics at the famous Wacken Open Air Metal Festival. Aquiles performed at the Metal Market on Friday, August 1st and Saturday, August 2nd, promoting TROYC album and doing some exclusive workshops.

Wacken Open Air (WOA) is the largest exclusively metal music festival in Europe. It takes place annually in the small town of Wacken in Schleswigholstein, northern Germany. For the three days of the festival, the little village turns in a kingdom of metal music for over 35,000 fans from around the world. Also, the festival is framed by side-events like the metal market, signing session, live interviews and clinics.

Starting from this year, MAPEX is co-sponsor for the International WOA Metal Battle. International winner received a free MAPEX Double bass drum set: Pro M series (Band can choose the color which supplied in Pro M series 2008).
