2009 NAMM SPECIAL EDITION BLACK PANTHER SILVER SPARKLE LACQUER SNARE DRUM

The same shell that was voted “Snare Drum of the Year” by the readers of DRUM! Magazine now finished in a brilliant Silver Sparkle lacquer.
The model features a 12mm thick silver sparkle shell. The drums bearing edges are rounded increasing the shell’s contact with the Remo Ambassador® head.

The drums dimensions are 14x6; a 20-strand snare.

“What we have created is a snare drum with a dark, full-bodied sound and an incredibly soft feel”, commented Mapex Product Development Manager.

The drum features a deep snare bed “Sam Bacco” to further enrich the sound and enhance player control, and also features chrome plated, low mass, single point-of-contact lugs, die-cast hoops and a fully adjustable throw-off and butt plates.
