"Mapex Drums are a huge part of my sound, whether I play in stadiums, arenas, clubs or in a studio. Not only do they sound and look incredible, they inspire me to play every time I sit behind them."

Simon grew up in France, constantly surrounded by music an art. He paid a particular interest towards the drums and got his first kit at only 2 years old.

At 6 years old, he was gigging regularly in his dad's band, and later joined the school orchestra and several cover bands.

As a teenager, Jean François Miguel, one of his drums teachers at the time, gave him the opportunity to open for his drum festival, featuring Thomas Lang, Walfredo Reyes Jr., Cindy Blackman and many others.

Following this, Simon also opened for Greg Bissonette, and performed in many different drum festivals, international music conventions, and drum clinics.

Simon got offered a Scholarship to study at Tech Music School, in London, where he moved at 17 years old. A few months after his arrival, Simon got hired to be the house drummer in the pop hit factory "Xenomania Records", played for many of their artists, and subsequently embarked on many UK tours, opening for acts like Paolo Nutini, One Republic, Whitney Houston and Scouting for Girls.

Simon then quickly became one of the go to guys on the session circuit and went on to work with artists such as Pet Shop Boys, Labrinth, Birdy, Charli XCX, Jason Derulo, Taio Cruz, and many more.

Simon is now based in Los Angeles, California, and is still touring, as well as producing music in his studio in Hollywood.
