Brandon Khoo

The Unexpected

Brandon is a Progressive Metal/Metal/Rock/Pop drummer who plays for the hard  rock band THE UNXPECTED in Singapore. He played for the Extreme Metal Band WAR  ENSEMBLE and was the drummer for the now de-funct Progressive Metal Band APHELION. 

Brandon is a veteran in the club circuit, He also has a wealth of experience sessioning  and recording for a number of notable bands and international artists such as KIKO  LOUREIRO from the Brazilian Progressive Metal Band ANGRA, EMIL CHAU (Zhou  Huajian), WU JIAHUI, JAYCEE CHAN, RICHIE JEN (Ren Xianqi), LEE SHENG JIE, LEON  LAI, SHIRLYN TAN, WENDI KOH, MELT9SNOW, HEAVEN & EARTH,SIMON YONG, ESTHER  LOWLESS, DEON TOH, INCH CHUA, and one of America's top blues guitarists,EUGENE  HIDEAWAY BRIDGES.

He also recorded the music sound track for the local hit movie 881 and its sequel 12  LOTUS. Original musicworks aside, He tracks drums for commercials and jingles.

Brandon is a sought after music educator, who strives to educate drummers about the art  of drumming and its rich history. He has worked closely with DOM FAMULARO to introduce  different drumming techniques to drummers in Singapore, most notably, THE MOELLER  TECHNIQUE.
