CLAUS HEßLER

Claus Heßler ist neben seiner Tätigkeit als Dozent an der Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt ebenso an der Berufsfachschule Dinkelsbühl sowie an der Bundesakademie in Trossingen tätig. Seine Ausbildung absolvierte er u.a. bei Dom Famularo, Jim Chapin, Al Miller, Alex Acuna, Portinho, Luis Conte und Bill Summers. Tätigkeit als Endorser und Clinician für Sabian, Vic Firth und Pearl; Studioarbeit, Videoveröffentlichungen. Workshopautor für das Magazin Drums & Percussion. Durch zahlreiche Gastspiele und Tourneen im In- und Ausland - auch mit national bzw. international renommierten Musikern - konnte Claus ebenso in unterschiedlichsten musikalischen Genres “Lorbeeren” sammeln (Jazz, Latin, Bigband, Top 40, TV-Jingles, Musical ... siehe Presse). Seine “Spezialgebiete” sind die  Moeller Technik und das sog. “Open Handed Playing”. Mit seinem Mentor Dom Famularo verbindet ihn eine langjährige Zusammenarbeit im Sektor Education - vor allem bei Clinics und der Übersetzung von IT’S YOUR MOVE. Diverse Buchprojekte befinden sich in Vorbereitung. Interviews und Features finden sich in den Magazinen der Fachpresse wie z.B. STICKS, DRUMS & PERCUSSION, SOUNDCHECK sowie unter  www.sessionmusician.com. Aktuelle Bandprojekte z.Zt.
