The son of the Reverend Brady Blade, Sr., Brady was born into a musical household in Shreveport, Louisiana. He and his brother grew up playing in the church, listening to the same albums and sharing many of the same influences. Brady has performed with Emmylou Harris, Steve Earle, Jewel and the Indigo Girls, and has been labeled the "guy to get" for cutting edge artists who go beyond the labels of alternative, rock, country or world music.
