Cezary Konrad

Born in 1967, Cezary graduated Academy of Music in Warszawa. He has collaborated with The Warsaw Percussion Group, Polish Radio and TV Orchestra, Sinfonia Varsovia. In 1990 he won first prize at Jazz Juniors Festival. Cezary performed with The Central Heating Trio during international jazz festivals in Leverkusen (Germany), Hoeliard (Belgium), North Sea Jazz Festival, Red Sea (Israel), and Jazz Jamboree (Poland). He has also won numerous individual prizes.

In 1992 Cezary was on the top of Jazz Forum Magazine plebiscite and he has played with all the top Polish musicians, like Z. Namyslowski, J. Smietana, T. Stanko, J. Muniak, H. Miskiewicz, W. Karolak and U. Dudziak. Cezary has also played with renowned musicians from all over the world including Randy Brecker, Joey de Franco, Deborah Brown, Didier Lockwood, Susan Weinert and Pat Metheny (Anna Maria Jopek Group – CD).

Cezary has recorded over twenty Cds and has performed workshops in Berlin, Neunkirchen, Bydgoszcz, Pulawy, Chodziez and Kalisz. At the moment, he is recording a DVD with Anna Maria Jopek, Mino Cinellu, Leszek Mozdzer.
