Randy Sifuentes began his musical career in 2002 under Brian Sexton in his hometown Edinburg, Tx. With a strong introduction into music he eventually began his studies under Eduardo Trevino at Economedes High School. Many of Sifuentes's instructional strategies stem from Trevino pushing all his students to always raise their own personal bar of achievement.

Because of Trevino's guidance, Sifuentes began his performing career early by performing with Revolution Drum & Bugle Corps in 2008. At Revolution, Sifuentes studied under Rachel Sitka, Peter Hilborn, Maverick Peterson, and Carlos Botello. While at Revolution, he competed in the open class I&E competition earning 2nd place on marimba. After learning a wealth of knowledge for three seasons with Revolution he went on to perform with the Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps for his last two seasons.

From Edinburg, Texas, Sifuentes has been conducting percussion clinician tours around the U.S. since 2014.
