Wardell Pearson Jr. of Philadelphia, PA has been playing drums since the tender age of three on a pots and pans ensemble. At age nine, Wardell began performing at his grandmother's church, playing drums for dozens of youth choirs in Philadelphia and the tri-state area. Wardell credits his musical growth to his experience playing in church. It's the perfect training ground for a young drummer, says Wardell. I feel blessed and privileged to play drums for a living and have people enjoy my art! Wardell's talent and passion have taken him around the world.
